by BBC News A yacht broke free from its moorings at an Isle of Man harbour, prompting a recovery operation by the coastguard.
The Douglas Coastguard's response team were called out late on Friday night after the boat drifted into the sea in strong winds.
The harbour master managed to get a line on the stern of the yacht and a coastguard rescue officer jumped on to check for casualties.
No-one was aboard and the yacht was brought into the harbour.
A coastguard spokesman said the boat suffered "considerable damage".
